I’m embracing the fact that I’m a dyed-in-the-wool contrarian. Always have been, always will be.
Herro, new followers! I know no1curr about About Mes but here are some facts about myself:
- I was raised by sarcastic wolves.
- My taste in music — from barefaced pop to bands that will never, ever sell more than 100 downloads — has stumped professional DJs and Katy Perry. They are apparently not ready for this jelly.
- I am struggling to develop into a stable adult.
- I define inspiration as “ideas sliding down from heaven on a stripper pole”. I don’t know where I heard this gem but I am claiming it as my own.
- I love Guinness.
- While London is my favorite city on Earth, I like exploring relatively obscure places; I hope to go to Kandy, Sri Lanka this year.
- I’ve lived in both North and South America. But I consider myself Narnian.
- One wish: that Hogwarts will offer graduate programs soon.
- I prefer non-fiction, especially books about the British monarchy. I’m currently reading A King’s Story: The Memoirs of H.R.H. the Duke of Windsor.
- I’m normally not this preppy, but I enjoy dressing like Nate Archibald once a year. My current style idol is Kingston Rossdale. He is 4.
- My spirit animal is Anthony Bourdain. Or a jar of Nutella.
- I’m on Tumblr all day, errday. Almost.
