Now for some weekend period drama porn: I started watching the three-part Upstairs Downstairs sequel.
According to this article, “the show was originally broadcast on ITV in the 1970s but was brought back by the BBC over Christmas with a largely new cast.” It’s nothing like Downton Abbey but it will have to do for now.

I’ve been watching these events closely and it’s surreal to say the least as I’m familiar with these areas north and south of the river. The sporadic rioting, looting and arson attacks are terrifying, more so when you realize that these acts of violence are merely manifestations of much deeper issues. Then it become depressing.
PS: The looting leaflet is from Dalston, from a co-worker. Stay at home!
