From what I know, Malaysia doesn’t have its own homegrown beer brand since about  60% of the population is Muslim and therefore forbidden by the government  to buy it. But the most popular ones, at least among those who can drink, are Carlsberg, Guinness, Anchor Smooth, Heineken and Hoegaarden, according to the waitress in this bar. 
In keeping with the Southeast Asian theme of this trip — which I haven’t really folllowed, lol — I’m enjoying my second Tiger Beer from neighboring Singapore. I see a couple more in my future, ie in 5 minutes!
