To shake things up food-wise and to cleanse my palate somewhat, I’ve been eating 1-2 boiled eggs once a day. (I got the idea from Hunter Parrish. I just said that like we were bros or something.)
I throw out the yolks, mash the whites with some mustard, Tabasco and a dash of salt, then spread on whole wheat or rye toast. It makes for a satisfying breakfast or lunch when paired with a handful of grapes or a side salad.
According to this, one large boiled egg contains only 17 calories from whites (and 55 calories from yolk — which is why I don’t bother eating them). I don’t know why I didn’t think of this sooner! (The wine I have after cancels everything out but, like, yolo.)
