60 years ago today, Elizabeth Windsor was climbing a tree in Kenya when her father died and she became Queen. 2012 marks The Diamond Jubilee making her the second monarch to have ever reigned for 60 years. I’m sure everyone knows by this point how much I adore this woman. Expect more of these leading up to the actual celebrations in June.
